Candy Land

Hey guy's!This is another awesome quick write story. I have not finished it but it will all be on in my next post.Tack a sneak peek of Candy Land!

Click,clack,I hear my door being knocked on.I went to my door,and no one was there. I did notice everything was made from candy! I went out for a look,I thought I was dreaming!Yes,I did try to pinch myself but nothing happened! Looking around,I did notice that I was wearing a new dress! It was black and red,my two favorite color's.The dress smelt like the best licorice ever.Two twin girl's with pink and purple dress's on came up to me.I saw that they were wearing matching pearl necklaces.At the bottom of one of the necklaces  had an R on it.The other had not an R but an H.The girl's asked me what my name was.I said "Hi,my name is Elizabeth"."Hi Elizabeth,i'm Rose,and this is Holly.We are the twinkling twin's of candy village,we brought you here to help us stop the evil queen of vegetable's".I have to admit that the twin's were very pretty.They both had long blond hair with a tidy fringe at the front.They had bid smile's with lot's of freckle's.Yes.They are identical.Holly started to walk along with me."first up,McDonald street!!!"

So blogger's,that was my Candy land story so far,I'll work on the rest straight away!

My Favorite Quick Write Story

Hey everyone!I knew I would put my next post on VERY soon.This is a post about my favorite quick write story that I wrote.My favorite part is the end!This is a fiction story but in some part of the holiday's something SIMILAR to this story happened to me.Here it is:

                                    What a mess!(The most boring story).

One Saturday morning I was watching TV. When I was tiered of it,I got every single toy I had out and put them in the living room. It was such a mess! I hardly played with them. Since I didn't want to play with all those toy's,I played Minecraft on my TV. When it was 7.00 at night,dad got home and mum was out getting takeaway's for dinner. Mum didn't see the mess when she left did she. Dad said firmly. I replied with Nope. I'm very-dad suddenly stopped. What are you playing? Dad asked. Minecraft.I said. Can I play!!! Dad yelled. Sure. I replied,passing the controller to him. We played so much,I finally had some fun that afternoon! We were so concentrated on the game that we did not relies mum coming! She screamed so loud when she saw the mess,my ear's hurt! Who made this mess! She asked. She did!He did! Me and dad said at the same time,pointing to each other. Toilet duty,NOW!!! What about dinner?! I asked.Oh no,you and dad will be having veges. And extra pea's! She said. No,not extra pea's,NOOOOOOO!!! I screamed. And Naomi and her dad were on toilet duty for ever after.

My Passion Project

This is my passion project.It took me quite a while to get done but I did manage.Here it is!!!

Please answer all of the following questions

Describe your passion project. What was your learning in it? What were you trying to produce?I was trying to produce a video of me singing  a new song I’ve never learnt.I chose He Honore.

How far did you get with your passion project? What would have helped you to get further?

On the last day of the passion project’s I just got it to my mail and it was taking so long to get it loading so I left it loading all weekend and today, Monday, I’m trying to get it to go on the passion project tracking sheet.

What was the most challenging part of your passion project?Well that was overcoming singing the song in front of the iPad.(sometime’s I get stage fright).

What was surprising about your passion project?

That I actually got it done and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be!!!

Did you follow your plan well? Why or why not?to me yes and no because it took me longer than I expected but I followed the instructions I made perfectly I do say so myself.

Which learning muscles did you use the most while you were working on your passion project? How did you use each one?I used the noticing muscle when something went wrong and I used perseverance when I tried to fix it when it got really hard.

Which learning muscles did you find difficult to stretch during passion project time?I would have to say my absorption muscle because I wasn’t always on task.

If you were allowed to pick a new passion project, what would you choose and why?

It would be playing the guitar because I haven't fully learnt it so i’d love to do more.

What was your favourite part of passion projects?

It was getting it done in time because I thought I wouldn’t make it but I did!

My Best Learning

This is my free choice writing. I am proud of this because I think think I’ve worked my hardest and put in my personal best.

My biggest challenge was getting it done in time and getting all the info from my head.

   

Success Criteria (Sentence formation has been our main focus)
Content & Ideas	Include a range of ideas with clear details.
Sentence Formation	Include simple, compound and complex sentences Start most of my sentences with different words
Vocabulary	Choose words and language features to meet my purpose.
Structure	Clear beginning, middle and end with paragraphs.
Spelling	My best spelling with good attempts at words I don’t know.
Punctuation	Use all basic punctuation (capital letters, full stops, question marks and exclamation marks) correctly and attempt some complex punctuation.

   

                                                 The unusual play-date

It was a sunny Sunday and I, Naomi, was looking out of Leila’s window.My eye’s were squinting.Watching from side to side of the rood,I was as quite as a ladybug.

It was 11.35.and 21 second’s when...wooooooooooohoooooo!!!She’s here she’s here she’s here she’s here!I quickly put on my shoe’s and hurried out the door and down the driveway.There was a grayish blue car and out of it came my B.F.F Jessica.

We ran up the driveway while my mum and Jessica’s mum walked up slowly chatting to each other.When we got inside our mum’s were trailing behind us like snail’s.Jessica had salt and vinegar chips and m&m afghan's in her hand.I said just to chuck them on the table.

She looked at her notepad and she told me the first thing we were going to do was play our guitar’s.Me and Jessica were terribly hungry but we like to stay on schedule.We started to play when we thought our guitar’s were made of chocolate!We gazed for a long time.

Just then there was a tad change.The six string’s faded into lickrish!We were too astonished to take a bite.When our guitar’s were back to normal,we carried on practicing for Mr.Write (we went on Friday's all 2015 in his class to practice).It was about 11.55 and 2 second’s when we  put our guitar’s away.

It was so weird and annoying when we saw our mum’s still chatting to each other.Jessica said:mum,mum,mum,go away NOW!She said not whispering but quietly.After that she whispered in her mum’s ear:This is MY play-date,not your’s.leave now.You have ten second’s starting now.Ten,nine,eight,seven,six,five,four,three,two one.She finished when her mum was gone.

The next thing on Jessica’s list was dancing in my room.The music came from my radio.We went into my room once again and I turned on my radio and put in a CD we liked to dance to.Our dancing time is up!I said at 12.15.

We went back to check what was on the list.But as soon as we saw my mum ,it looked like she was  made of sweet’s!!!I finally said:We have to fix this!So we thought and we thought and we thought.But nothing came to our head’s.We looked around the house.And when we came to the table,we saw the food.It looked like it was glowing to us.

So there was our thought.We opened the packet’s and scoffed everything,even the crums. It only took us five minutes and we have finished two large packets of chips and one whole packet of m&m afghan’s!

Mum,I fell sick.I said in a moaning voice.Go and watch a movie with Jessica then.That should calm you down.Mum said.Have you seen the movie Paranorman?No.Jessica replied.So we watched and watched through the whole thing.

I went to mum and gave her a hug while saying:That made me fell much better.But I fell like i’m going to vomite. She said.Go watch a movie then.I said firmly.

After that,We HAD to do our dance.But as we walked closer to my room with curios look’s on our faces,we herd a sound that went like this: Shake it of, shake it of, of of.Oh shake it of,shake it of,of of.It was the voice of Talor Swift.We carefully opened the door and….Leila and Ollie were dancing!Leila was doing the lawn mower and Ollie was cutely(for a three year old)was doing the sprinkler!Me and Jessica have seen lot’s of weird things lately so all we did was join in and have a load of fun.

Mya's B-day party

Hey guy's and now i'm going to tell you about my first soccer game and Mya Wallace  b-day.Mum said if I try really hard at soccer I can go to Mya's b-day. At soccer it was very foggy when we arrived. We waited for our coach and when he was there we started practicing some skills before the game.

We did not win but mum said I did well enough to go to Mya's party.We got her a star war's bop-it.When we bought the present,we went home and got dressed into my rock star out-fit, did my hair and put on my make-up. When we started heading in to town we looked for Mya's house and then we found it.

There was a red carpet and Mya's dad was checking if I was on the guest list.He found my name and let me in. Inside was a disco ball and another red carpet. The back had a photo both and some mini mask's on a stick.There was a pink table wher the lunch going to be  layed out. 

We had a dance and Isabella was chasing me.down the red carpet me and Skyla walked down it together laughing.When the food came out Bella Casson arrived and had some lollies chip's,cheerio's,sausage roll's and fizzy. Then we had a game to see who could keep there holla-hoop up and I won out of all the winner's (who were three year six girl's).We played a few other game's had a dance of, played statue's  had a dance with our friend's until the dinner came.

 We had delicious pizza for dinner and when we ate the rest of the pizza Mya Wallace's mum said that the first game of popping other people's balloon's was just a practice!!! so we had a real game and I was so close to winning but Khushi popped my balloon when I wasn't looking! I sat down and waited for the winner. I can't remember who it was but i'm sure it was a girl.

After that we played just dance 2016. The song that I dance to was fancy.After my turn I watched the other people have there turn until I saw mum. I got up and gave her a hug. Mya's mum gave
me a goody bag, I said thank- you and I walked out of the house.

 Dad quickly dropped by and  gave me mum's mother's day present's.They where flower's, chocolate and mum's fave: peanut m&m's.I hid them in her room early the next morning while she was asleep and she found them all when the day was lighter.

She loved all her present's and we made her breakfast in bed.We made her a delicious bagel.

My Soccer Practice

Hey!!! It's me again and i'm going to tell you about my soccer practice's. We'll start of with this: I was at swimming lesson's with mum and I was just getting dressed.

When I came out of the changing room and mum was on the phone with dad. She asked me if I would like to do soccer or netball. Of course I said netball because I thought soccer is to rough for me and i'll be a big baby. But when mum said they put you in you'r ability's, I changed my mind at once.

From that day on, when I went to my Nan's, she has a big back yard and I play soccer practice with my dad, Ollie,Leila and my Nan. We love playing soccer.

 I started playing four week's ago. I'm so exited! I wonder what it will be like. I think I will love it. If my parent's or  teacher's tell me I have do something or if it's triathlon, I give up easily. So I better love it.

At the opening, we came late because we had to clean up that messy room, we went to the grand opening of soccer and we were just in time for the lolly scramble. We got about four lollies each. These are going to be the best soccer game's ever!!!

My surprising holiday

Hey guy's and today i'm going to tell you about my speedway in the holiday's. I'll start at lunch. We got home from buying KFC for lunch and started eating my chicken wrap. When 
I was three quarter's through it started to have a bad taste on my taste bud's. I told dad I didn't like it and he said he would eat it. He told me to pack up in the living room where my sister Leila  was all ready packing up because she said she didn't want it as soon as she saw it. I started to pack up when dad started to be funny and I couldn't help myself.

 A few minute's later the living room was tidy and we turned on the TV and rest while dad was putting in Ollie and Leila's ear drop's in. They had ear drop's because they both have burst ear drum's. We all lay down on the couch and turned on the TV except for dad who was on his computer (as usual).  

It was starting to get darker and dad told me to put on some warmer cloth's.  I asked him why and where am I going and who with but he said it's a secret. I said if it's something to do with truck i'll hate it. he said "kinda". fine i'll go and get  re-dressed I said. when I was dressed mum came around and said that I was going to the speedway!!! Dad only told me to get into warm cloth's because my Leila and Ollie were both sick and it would be to cold for them. But instead mum got Leila and Ollie one kinder surprise each and the movie star's book and eight card's so they could open four each (and didn't get me anything, but i'm cool with it ).  

Before we went to get my cousin Leo, my auntie Rebecca and my uncle Stacie.When we got out to the speedway, it just started. I was so exited I was the first one out of mum's car. We went on the most comfortable hill were we all way's sit and got all comfortable (except for me,who was rolling down the hill).Mum said that dad would be mad abut my hair but I said he doesn't care. 

I went under the seat's closest to s to play on the bar's.when I was out of breath I had some jell tip chocolate some juice and lolly's. We watched for a while when mum wanted to video me rolling down the hill.I kept on going till I asked if it was time for the fireworks. mum said not quit yet so I sat down and had more treat's.

When it was time for the fireworks, I sat on mum's lap, put on  my earmuff's and let the amazement tack me away.The fireworks where just outstanding! When they where over, we started heading home. When I was at dad's, Leila and Ollie Where asleep and I had a turn with the movie star's. I loved them and dad told me how it work's. After that I went to bed and went to sleep strait away. I love going to the speedway.
